Upcoming Event: Suffolk Earth and Arts Festival

Art Festivals have taken the country by storm, and Suffolk is determined to take part in the action.

Inspired by festivals that have taken place across Hampton Roads, the organizers decided to put together the Suffolk Earth and Arts Festival.

Taking place on Saturday, April 22 (Earth Day), the Suffolk Earth and Art Festival will give revellers a chance to shop for plants, check out 60 arts and crafts vendors and sample a delicious menu from various food trucks and Harper’s Table, a Suffolk favorite.

For the kids, there will be the Suffolk Library 2Go, which will have a few activities set up.

There will also be live music, featuring various folk singers from around Virginia Beach.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to make your own beer, there will be a home-brewing workshop.  There will also be gardening experts on hand to help you realize your green thumb potential!

Since it is Earth Day, there will be non-profits there to educate festival goers on how to better protect our planet.

And if all that is not enough to tempt you to join, there will also be adorable Suffolk Earth and Art Festival Mason jars for sale!

There is no doubt this festival should be on your list of can’t miss events this weekend!  Will you be there?  Tag us in your pictures of the festival on Instagram!

The Suffolk Earth and Arts Festival will take place from 10 am – 4 pm at 3488 Godwin Boulevard, Suffolk, VA.
