Rodan and Fields 60 Day Review
Sixty days ago, I started using Rodan and Fields Reverse regime. After hitting 30 in February, this is an attempt to take back my skin and undo some of the damage I did in my teens and early twenties (gosh darn sunbathing).
Without a doubt, my skin is looking and feeling better after 60 days. I wish I had one of those UV photos so I could see how the damage under my skin has been repaired during my trial!
My skin is also incredibly smooth. I just love how my face feels! And those close to me have noticed a difference in how my skin looks. So I’ve been fielding a great deal of questions about Rodan and Fields.
But one concern that I did hear from my fellow mom friends that I definitely want to address is the use of Retinol in their products.
As a breastfeeding mom, I have to be so careful about what I consume and use. Unfortunately, some products can have an impact on my breast milk production and my daughter.
Before trying Rodan and Fields, I did my due diligence and researched what other moms have to say about the Retinol in their products and how it impacts breastfeeding.
Now of course, you should always speak to your lactation consultant, pediatrician or OBGYN if you have concerns about breastfeeding and a change in your routine. But the amount of Retinol in the Rodan and Fields regime is such a small amount that it was totally safe for me and my daughter. And we noticed zero changes in her poop, comfort level or my production.
All in all, this was a great product. What I love most about it is how light the sunscreen is. Every sunscreen I’ve ever used on my face has caused my already sensitive and oily skin to just feel greasy. However, the sunscreen that came with this regime was so light, that I didn’t even mind using make up over on those rare occasions I have a moment to slap some on!
My one hold back with Rodan and Fields is of course the cost. But I would rather invest in a fantastic skincare product that actually does what it promises to do and makes me feel better and more confident than on sub-par products that do nothing for me.

So would I use it again?
You bet. And if you’re looking for a great skin care product, give Rodan and Fields a shot. I promise you won’t regret it!
